Candidate Agreement

This Candidate Agreement (the "Agreement") is entered into between Global Dental Recruitment (the "Recruitment Agency") and the individual candidate ("Candidate") in relation to the recruitment services provided by the Recruitment Agency for placing internationally trained dentists in positions within Canada.

The Recruitment Agency agrees to provide the following services to the Candidate: a. Assessing the Candidate's qualifications, experience, and suitability for dental positions in Canada. b. Providing guidance and support throughout the recruitment process, including resume preparation, interview coaching, and visa application assistance. c. Presenting the Candidate's profile to potential employers and arranging interviews on behalf of the Candidate. d. Facilitating communication and negotiations between the Candidate and potential employers. e. Assisting with the relocation process, if required.

Candidate Responsibilities

The Candidate agrees to: 

a. Provide accurate and complete information regarding their qualifications, experience, and employment history. 

b. Cooperate with the Recruitment Agency by promptly responding to requests for additional information, documentation, or interviews. 

c. Notify the Recruitment Agency of any changes in personal information, employment status, or availability. 

d. Abide by the Recruitment Agency's guidelines and instructions throughout the recruitment process. 

e. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations during the employment process and while working in Canada.


Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any sensitive information shared during the recruitment process, including but not limited to personal details, employment opportunities, compensation discussions, and any other proprietary information obtained from potential employers or the Candidate.

Fee Agreement

The Candidate acknowledges that the Recruitment Agency may charge a placement fee to the successful candidate, typically payable by the employer. The specific details and terms regarding the fee will be provided separately in a fee agreement or contract between the Recruitment Agency and the employer. 

Fee Prohibition

The Alberta fee prohibition employment agencies cannot demand or collect any fee, reward or compensation from individuals seeking employment, or from anyone acting on their behalf. It also includes the prohibition of charging fees for providing information about employers seeking employees.  

Limitation of Liability

The Recruitment Agency shall not be liable for any damages or losses incurred by the Candidate arising out of or related to the recruitment process, including but not limited to any delays, errors, omissions, or misrepresentations made by potential employers.


Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing written notice to the other party. In the event of termination, any ongoing recruitment process will be promptly concluded, and the Recruitment Agency will not be obligated to provide any further services to the Candidate.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.
